What is Total Quality Management (TQM)?

All the standards, tools, techniques, methods, concepts, practices implemented for Quality, Environmental, safety, information security are come under the umbrella of Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM is a broad term. It includes both implementation and certification to these management system standards. Most of these TQM standards are published by International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

International Association like IATF also has published many TQM standards, for example IATF 16949 and core tools standards (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA).
