TISAX is the European automotive association's (VDA) standard. The TISAX standard is related to the Information Security. Though ISO has published ISO 27001 standard for information security, European auto OEMs are asking automotive related suppliers to compl with the TISAX standard due to the following reasons.
ENX is the basis for exchange of TISAX certification results among all OEMs and all automotive suppliers. Depending upon the information security compliance levels, the OEMs can choose the suppliers from this ENX portal.
If an organization is already certified to ISO 27001 standard, then compliance to TISAX is easy.
The main purpose of the TISAX standard is to protect the confidential technical design information of European car manufacturers and to protect their privacy information.

ISO 27001 is not covering prototype information protection requirements.

ISO 27001 certification details are not updated in the common portal, whereas TIASX certification results are updated in the common portal called ENX.
